TRIP TO ROMANIA

14th-17th May 2018
During the visit in Cluj-Napoca, the historical capital of Transylvania, teachers  from all partnerships schools got skilled at the water research methodology. Two teachers and two students from Primary School in Kobylnica had an opportunity to took part in this meeting.   A school that we visited had been decorated with students artworks, which main theme was immigrants’ problems and their rights nowadays.
One of the most important issue of this programme was water sampling and analysis. Students from all partnership countries did the -ph analysis at the Babes Bolyai University and created a teacher’s Guide on Methodology of Water Research.  After that ,children designed t-shirts which main theme was Children's Rights. Finally, students from all partnership countries prepared a flash mob- a special dance conducted by a professional dance instructor to "We’ve All Got Rights" song. Everybody had a chance to see this performance on the Facebook website.
Furthermore,  we also had a chance to visit school and kindergarten in Cluj-Napoca. We were surprised by well-equipped and colourful classrooms. One of them was divided into two parts- one for relaxing and the other one for  studying. We also noticed that children in Romania can speak English very well. Moreover education there is treated as a priority. Nevertheless, students from Poland can speak English as good as Romanian so they could present our country in a very efficient way.
During our stay in Romania we spent some time on a sightseeing.  The most worth-seeing places were undoubtedly a salt mine in Salina Turda and nature reserve in Turda Gorge. Moreover children from all partnership countries could spend some time together. They went to the cinema or did some shopping.
Our last day in Romania was really busy. We brought together things that we had done for the last four days. We have considered refugees problems, children's rights and a proper use of water. It was also stressed that the communication between partner schools should be improved.
