Interschool competition „PICTURE DICTIONARY“ for 4th-6th grade students
Ist edition called : „PICTURE DICTIONARY WITH ERASMUS +“
Kornel Makuszyński Primary School in Kobylnica takes part in project Erasmus+ "Friends across the water". We cordially invite for our first annual edition of the "Picture Dictionary" competition. This year it is called "Picture dictionary with Erasmus+". The main task is to create a piece of art that will show the name of the partnership country in English that will be formed by different symbols that are characteristic for these particular countries.

Aims:
- arousing interests in English language, encouraging to learning it,
- presenting vast possibilities of using foreign language in everyday life,
- introducing to participants the culture of countries taking part in project Erasmus+ that is being carried out by the school in Kobylnica,
- encouraging students to take part in additional activities
- encouraging to creative thinking and artistic work
Regulations of the Picture Dictionary Competition:
1. Annual Picture Dictionary Competition is for 4th-6th grade students.
2. Only one piece of art is acceptable. Team works will be rejected.
3. Format: min. A3
4. These piece of art must fulfill the objectives of the competition. Moreover, they
need to be imaginative and aesthetic.
5. Works of the participants must be signed backwards. (Name, Surname,
Class, School)
6. The deadline is 15th March 2019
7. Announcement of the competition results will take place on 22nd March 2019
8. The results will be published on our school website www.spkobylnica.pl
9. The top three winners in each age category will receive prizes.
Furthermore, there will be an exhibition formed from the best works.
This competition is held within the project Erasmus + „Friends Across the Water“.
