TRIP TO PORTUGAL

Meta-cognition, leadership, digital feedback and website training – 2 teacher from each school.

We gained the support from a website designer and during the meeting the project’s website with its logo was designed.  We were also informed about its address and how to add  new information. The teachers knew the ways of downloading them and gained knowledge about materials promoting the project among different countries.

Moreover the teachers got skills on the field of meta-cognition as the took part in conference and  panel discussion prepared by representatives of the Psychology Department at the University in Porto, that was broadcasted  by Portuguese television. During the training we were explained how the thought processes work and what way can we adjust our intelligence. On the basis of this knowledge we can increase the effectiveness of teaching proces.  The teachers also gained plenty of  multimedia presentations, which were presented on a training teaching staff meeting.

It is worth mentioning that all the teachers took part in plays showing difficulties of refugees, especially women domestic violence. Each event was discussed on a panel discussion. During the visit, the participants took part in presentation about photography, creating podcats, and filming. They shared their knowledge with other teachers from their school and enthusiasm to trying to be a leader at a local ground.

Withing the framework of shaing knowledge and experience all the teachers conducted 5 demonstrative and3  open lessons for Portuguese students. It was a perfect method of exchanging the experience and presenting the country of teachers’ origins and  their customs.  At the  Serrinha School , for youngest students, teachers watched performances about multiculturalism.   
One of the crucial elements of our training meeting  in Portugal was a visit in City Council in Paredes where  coordinator from Poland  retold about aims and strategies of the project Eramus +. At the meeing with the President and the manager of Education Department were also present the local authorities as well as representatives of the Psychology Department of Univesity in Porto. They delared their help in promoting the project. Local newspaper and TV presented the material from project’s meeting in Portugal.
