REPORT OF CARING AND EDUCATIONAL CLASSES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK

OF WINTER HOLIDAYS

11TH FEBRUARY-15TH FEBRUARY2019
During an organised winter holidays’ rest within the framework of project Erasmus + took part 4th-6th grade students from Primary School in Kobylnica. 
I st DAY – 11.02.2019 (Monday)
A trip to Gdynia Aquarium -  22 participants
The aims of the trip were:
  • Creating eco thinking about world around us,
  • realizing the necessity of saving water supplies and limiting its usage, ways of its saving, promoting the idea of saving water in local environment,
  • showing the wealth of Baltic’s flora and fauna as well as impact of human activity on this marine ecosystem.
II nd DAY – 12.02.2019 (Tuesday)
Language Classes– „A meeting with English Language” -  20 participants.
The aims of activities organised in Primary School in Kobylnica:
  • arousing interests in English language, encouraging to learning it,
  • presenting vast possibilities of using foreign language in everyday life,
  • introducing to participants the culture of countries taking part in project Erasmus + that is being carried out by the school in Kobylnica,
  • encouraging to gaining knowledge about different cultures, exploring the world and enjoying contacts with friends from other countries,
  • encouraging to creative thinking and artistic work .
On that day students improved their skills in English, enriched their vocabulary connected with winter sports and clothes. They also designed winter outifits and created Valentine cards in languages of partners from Erasmus + project. The students also took part in robotics’ classes.
IIIrd DAY – 13.02.2019 (Wednesday)
Classes with ERASMUS cleverly and healthy – 18 participants.
The aims of activities organised in Primary School in Kobylnica:
  • promoting active way of resting through taking part in sport’s classes,
  • shaping the pro-health awareness,
  • promoting healthy lifestyle and pointing the participants pro-health ways of spanding free time .
The participants took part in sport’s classes – playing basketball, unihockey, football, table tennis and row races. The award for participation was fruity treat. The participants also took part in robotics’ classes.
IVth DAY – 14.02.2019 (Thursday)
„Ecology for you” classes – 16 participants.
The aims of activities organised in Primary School in Kobylnica:
  • shaping the pro-health awareness,
  • promoting healthy lifestyle,
  • an impact of water and consuming products for human health,
  • realizing the necessity of saving water supplies and limiting its usage, ways of its saving, promoting the idea of saving water in local environment,
  • encouraging to creative thinking and artistic work
  • creating work of art – a collage of aquarium made of recycling materials
On that day the participants prepared eco-breakfast by themselves, respecting hygene and safety rules. Then they prepared a dessert – a fruit salad.  There was a discussion about the impact of used products  for human organism. The participants were also encouraged to healthy nourishment.
Later on, the participants created a collage showing an aquarium. It was a perfect occasion for discussing eco matters connected with water. 
The participants took also part in robotics’ classes.
Vth DAY – 15.02.2019 (Friday)
Sightseeing tour to Forest Inspecorate  in Warcino and Forestry Technical College – 19 participants .
The aims of the trip:
  • Creating eco thinking about world around us,
  • illustrating human impact on the environment,
  • showing the wealth of forest’s flora and fauna,
  • enriching knowledge about hunting,
  • encouraging to pro-eco activities
During the trip the participants gained knowledge about first owner of this mansion – Otto von Bismarck, who built the complex of buildings where the school is now. They also listened to eco – lecture prepared and conducted by worker from Forest Inspectorate in Warcino and saw interesting exhibits and education boards in Centre of Forest Education “Niezapominajka”. They also visited the buildings of Forestry Technical College. The greatest impression on the participants was made by Centre of Rehabilitation of Birds of prey. The students took part in outdoor activities. 
The participation in winter holidays was summed up by the bonfire. In the end all the participants got a gift from Forest Inspectorate in Warcino – colourful bandannas with Forest Inspectorate’s logo.
